Sony "working diligently" to bring Mortal Kombat back to PSN

This one has been doing the rounds and we're bitterly sorry we never mentioned it. However, in case you hadn't realised, Mortal Kombat disappeared without a trace from PSN over the weekend and no-one knew why. Well, 1UP got in touch with Sony and were assured that they are "working diligently" to get the game back on PSN where it belongs.

The statement in full:

"A Mortal Kombat II specification is being upgraded in connection with the release of the latest firmware update. This is one of our top titles on PlayStation Network, we are working diligently to get this back up on the PlayStation Store."

A bit more though the link, but not much.
