Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies arrives on Steam and the App Store this autumn

The sequel to Sid Meier's Ace Patrol is coming very soon, as 2K and Firaxis Games have announced Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies for Windows PC, iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. It's set during the First World War and, as the name suggests, enters you into aerial battles over the Pacific Ocean.

The game will allow you to customise your pilot profile over the course of different missions, during which you can unlock new skills, upgrades, and manoeuvres. There'll be the option to pilot both American and Japanese fighter planes, and missions will include historic battles such as Pearl Harbour.

There's no set release date just yet, but you can expect it some time this autumn. Cast your eyes over the trailer below.
