If you just can't wait a few more days to compulsively collect weapons and then run screaming from the shuffling hordes, this massive 45 minute look at Dead Island may tide you over.

IGN posted the video, which is part one of two. Two editors talk the viewer through their experience from the game's opening prologue through to the first safe house.

Dead Island drops on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 6 in the US and September 9 in Europe, although the US street date has been broken.
