Second Life developer reveals colourful world-builder Patterns

Second Life developer Linden Labs has unveiled its next project, a colourful world-building game that sees players creating their own 3D play space. The developer has also revealed a trailer showing off the game's building elements and universe. Watch it below.

Patterns gives players simple shapes that they can use to craft objects and manipulate them with physics. It's Minecraft with curves in many respects, although with a greater emphasis on social interaction and shared experiences.
