Report - UK game sales slump in July

UK game sales at retail seen a massive downer last month, suffering its worst period this year to date, according to MCV.

Quoting Chart-Track numbers, retail generated £44.76 million, which is down 26.4 percent when compared to July 2010.

For unit sales, 2,327,966 games were sold in July, down 20 percent for the same period last year, with Zumba Fitness being the best-selling game of the month. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean and DiRT 3 was right behind it.
