QuakeCon pre-registration opens up

Pre-registration for this year's QuakeCon in Texas has now opened up.

Admittance into the event remains free, but Bethesda is now holding premium packages that range from $20 to $50.

The BYOC pack will let you reserve a spot at the Bring Your Own Computer area, as well as a BYOC T-shirt and a mouse pad featuring "special art" of RAGE.

The Swag Pack, which will set back $35, will include a QuakeCon 2011 T-shirt, a RAGE wingstick T-shirt, a lithograph of Skyrim signed by the development team at Bethesda Game Studios and a pack of zipper-pulls for RAGE, Skyrim and Prey 2.

The QuakeCon done Quick Package, which will only be available to 200 people on a first-come, first-served basis, will allow you to select and reserve your seat at the BYOC area, express lanes to fast track registration for BYOC and all speakers, panels and events during the show.

It'll also come with a RAGE mousepad signed by creative director Tim Willits and a QuakeCon zipper-pull.

This year's event is expected to show off one final look at RAGE, as well as more on Skyrim and Prey 2. DOOM 4 is anticipated to finally make its debut bow too.

QuakeCon takes place from August 4-7.
