Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is getting a PVP zombie mode
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, which is having a big E3, has another major new addition coming.
The new zombie mode will have players controlling the zombies, working to take down the non-zombie players roaming the map. It will be completely separate from the standard modes that players already know and love. This was announced on the Twitch stage at E3.
The lead community manager for Bluehole, who goes by the name 'poopieQueen', has sent out several tweets clarifying details about the new mode:
While we're excited about this, I want to assure you that this will NOT mean we will move our focus to new content. Optimization first! ?? https://t.co/uxtCspoBCT

Player controlled zombies. That is what makes this exciting for us. But again, it won't be in the "base" game. https://t.co/4ai4VUFTav

We've also learned so far that PUBG is coming to Xbox One, that there are two new maps planned, and that you'll soon be able to climb fences.
In addition to all of this, you'll soon be able to hunt zombies...or non-zombies, depending on which side you're playing.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is currently available on PC.
