Egocentric police d**k free with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Atlus emailed fans today with the subject line "egocentric police dick". Of all the ways this could have gone, "free DLC" was not what I was expecting.

The "egocentric police dick" in question is Tohru Adachi, also described as a "bumbling jester", who will be available as free character DLC for one week following Persona 4 Arena Ultimax's launch.

"The cabbage-carrying constable and his Persona, Magatsu-Izanagi join the cast in the P-1 Climax fighting tournament," Atlus wrote.

This all makes sense to Persona fans; don't worry.

In a batch of new screenshots, Atlus included an image of one of Adachi's alternate palette options, which bears a striking similarity to Batman's Joker. Kind of cool.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on September 30. After the initial week-long grace period, Adachi will be available as premium DLC.
