October release for Twisted Metal confirmed in new trailer

Twisted Metal's return will release in the US for PS3 on October 4, as announced in a new video this morning.

It's unknown if the date is worldwide or US, but we'd wager on the latter.

The video shows the date at the end. It also features gameplay and story segments. Watch it below, via GameTrailers.

The Eat, Sleep, Play reboot of the series was announced at E3 last year by ESP bosses David Jaffe and Scott Campbell, despite the former insisting before then he wasn't making a Twisted Metal game at all.
