Next-gen Xbox detailed in last issue of Xbox World - rumor

The last issue of Xbox World promises to go out with a bang as it contains eight pages of everything there is to know about the next Xbox console.

According to the magazine's editor in chief Dan Dawkins, everything revealed in the issue pertaining to "Durango" will "be revealed long before E3 in June," he told CVG.

Xbox World claims the next console from Microsoft will simply be called "Xbox" and introduces Kinect 2.0, runs Blu-ray discs, features directional audio, TV output/input, an "innovative controller" and AR glasses will be made available later on down the road.

The dev kits currently contain a CPU with "four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores" and 8GB of RAM.

Xbox World's last issue, dated January 2013, should be hitting newsstands in December alongside the last issue of PSM3 which also promises a full exposé on PS4.
