Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is filled with secrets, but this is one of its sweetest.
A Reddit post by 'Razorgc' (happy birthday, if you're reading this) has alerted us to the neat little easter egg. Remember how the game asked you to input your date of birth shortly into the prologue? It seems that this is why. Head to Mother Base on your birthday and this cutscene will play.
This is one of the better in-game birthday celebrations we've seen. Keifer Sutherland's Snake doesn't have much to say, but it's nice to see him smiling.
