Kickstarter to allow UK projects starting in the fall

Kickstarter will allow UK-based projects starting in the fall, it has been announced. The firm revealed last month its crowd-funding platform would head overseas, but a timeline was not provided. The highest profile Kickstarter campaign so far has been Double Fine Adventure, which saw over $3 million raised for the project. While UK residents have always been able to contribute, UK firms and individuals will have projects welcomed into the fold. Thanks, MCV.
