Humble Store launched as permanent, charity-benefiting storefront
Humble Bundle has spawned a new initiative, the Humble Store, offering an ongoing selection of games - at fixed prices.
The Humble Store is similar to other digital storefronts like Steam or GOG.
It differs from the regular bundle scheme in that products will be available all the time, not just when a bundle or weekly sale is on. It will also offer an ongoing selection of limited-time discounts.
It also differs in that prices are fixed, not pay-what-you-want, and the breakdown of how your contribution is split is fixed - 10% to charities, 75% to game creators, 15% to the Humble organisation.
The store aims to service Linux, Mac and PC, and there will be new games every day.
To celebrate the new store's opening, a sale is offering steep discounts on Don't Starve, Rogue Legacy, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Natural Selection, and much more.
