Heavily cut Bulletstorm given 18 rating in Germany

The USK, Germany's age ratings body for games, has not given People Can Fly's Bulletstorm a ban in the country and given the game an 18.

The OTT shooter has been given some heavy censorship cuts to get the rating, though. Ragdoll effects, splatter, dismembering and blood are all absent from the game.

The Austrian version remains untouched, however, with EA distributing that version in Germany.

Germany is well known for cutting content from games in order to release there. The most-recent big casualty was Black Ops last November.

Bulletstorm releases on February 22 in the US and February 25 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.

Thanks, GI.
