Greenlight simulator fever (hopefully) reaches its zenith with Grass Simulator

Hot on the heels of the apparent success of Rock Simulator comes Grass Simulator. This is a thing that is happening, you guys. I think we're doomed.

The newly launched Steam Greenlight project is described as thus:

"Have you waited all your life for a game that brings plot and gameplay together? Well we have the game for you, With full realistic grass physics, beautiful sky-boxes, Cows?! Grass Simulator is the game of the next generation. Here are the awesome things possible in Grass Simulator:

  • Grass
  • Dynamic Grass Graphics
  • Realistic Weather
  • Wonderful Environment
  • Cows?!
  • More Grass

"Experience Next Generation Grass!"

A developer post then goes onto to detail more upcoming features, while another assured the community that yes, this is legit.

Although the concept is gathering votes thanks to the Steam Community's oft-perverse sense of humour, others have missed the joke and there's some pretty hilarious angry commenting going on if you'd like to go down the rabbit hole. My favourites are the ones reeking of umbrage that Grass Simulator has "ripped off" Rock Simulator.

Ripped off Rock Simulator. I can't do this right now; I can't. Here are some trailers for Grass Simulator for you to watch while I take a short break. If you need me, I'll probably be in a bar.

Thanks, Kotaku.
