Green Man Gaming now lists where game keys were obtained

Online game retailer Green Man Gaming will now inform customers where the CD key they are purchasing originated.

The transparency comes after a bit of an online scuffle between the retailer and the GameDeals sub-reddit earlier this week, after the latter mad it a policy to no longer list GMG offers over key codes for Activision and Ubisoft titles not supplied directly by the publishers.

News of the new key policy at GMG was posted on the firm's Facebook page, and along with how the key was obtained, it will now inform customers when they can expect delivery of a key.

These changes are noted on some game listings as of today, but it will take a while to roll out across the entire site. For example, when you look at the Fallout 4 listing, it notes the key was obtained directly from Bethesda.
