Final Fantasy XIII-2 confirmed for early 2012 western launch

We missed this earlier. Sorry. Square Enix has confirmed a western early 2012 launch for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The timeline comes at the end of the game's first proper trailer, shown at E3 from last night. The game is scheduled to release in December this year in Japan at least.
