Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae 2.0 coming next month

The Final Fantasy 15 demo will be re-released in new and improved form. Gosh.

Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae released in March and gave some of us a first look at a game we've been waiting close to nine years for.

It proved a bit hit and miss; Alex seemed to enjoy it, whereas I kind of just wanted to switch it off.

In a new episode of Square Enix's Active Time Report, Hajime Tabata addressed feedback on the demo, giving a detailed look at responses to a global survey on the taster.

Square Enix will be acting on this feedback immediately. A new version of the demo, titled Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae 2.0, will release in May. Some of the improvements it will feature include a new targeting system, better camera control, and a new kind of dodging. That all sounds pretty good to me.

Tabata also said that optimisation improvements will be made in order to stabilise the RPG's shaky framerate, but we might not see the results of that in the new demo build.

You can watch the full 90 minute report below.

Final Fantasy 15 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One but has not been dated.

Thanks, DualShockers.
