Destiny 2 Bounties - How to Take Down the Crucible Bounty Team

Destiny 2 Bounties are making a comeback for the sequel. On September 27 for a very limited amount of time, you'll be able to head into the Crucible with a Fireteam and try to find and take down a team comprised of four Bungie developers. We'll run down the rewards for taking down the team, as well as their identities, in this Destiny 2 Bounties guide.

Destiny 2 Bounties

Firstly, the debut Destiny 2 Bounty will actually only be available on PS4 on September 27. We don't know if the same Bounty will be available at a later date on the Xbox One version of the game, but we'll keep you posted should we hear any additional information.

But conquering the Destiny 2 Bounty team in the Crucible will require a whole lot of luck on your part, as you actually need to be matched up against, and then beat, the team led by 'Gigz'. Aside from Gigz (a popular Destiny 2 Twitch streamer), there are three Bungie developers in the Fireteam:

  • imtylerdurden - Josh Hamrick, Senior Designer
  • Tocom - Kevin Yanes, Senior Designer
  • Cozmo_BNG - Community Manager

Between the hours of 8 pm and 10 pm PST (that's 4 am and 6 am BST), you'll have to head into the Crucible and hope you come across Gigz and the other four Bungie members. Should you manage to beat them in whatever game mode you're matched up in, then you'll earn the Sign of Mutual Combat Emblem pictured just above.

As we previously mentioned, we don't yet know when Destiny 2 Bounty targets will be arriving on the Xbox One, nor do we know when the next Bounty target will appear after this debut one. We'll keep you informed with any new information from Bungie however, so make sure to keep an eye on this post.
