Deadly Premonition PC: SWERY apologises for shonky port

Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut's PC release has seen some gamers complain about its locked 720p resolution. It has seen creator Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro apologise on Twitter.

In response, the developer tweeted, "To all the fans of Deadly Premonition. As usual, The steam version evaluation seems to be polarizing. Sorry it is seems to give some unsatisfied. I'm embarrassed that problem give you big disappointment. Anyway, thank you. Please enjoy. I love you all!"

It comes as modder Durante released an alpha mod that will enable gamers to bump up the title's resolution a few notches. He has since received support from the game's publisher Rising Star Games.

Eurogamer notes that while the patch is currently quite unstable, it's a step towards a sharper, more defined PC port.
