PlayStation 4 owners will be playing the upcoming beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 a few days before anyone else.

When Activision announced the start date of the Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta last week, it only revealed the August 19 date. At the time, it was not known how long the PlayStation 4 exclusivity period will last.

Part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's presence at Comic-Con last weekend, was an event called Zombies Escape Room Challenge. Anyone who attended said event, received a 30-day PlayStation Plus trial card. These cards had new details about the beta.

As you can see above, the beta will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 for five whole days. Starting August 19 and possibly opening to everyone else August 23. Treyarch hasn't announced an end date, but the number of exclusive days seems to suggest a period longer than what you'd expect from AAA betas.

This beta, along with the 30-day DLC exclusivity period, are all part of the series switching homes, from Xbox to PlayStation.
