Apple on the warpath over in-app purchase hack

The Next Web reports a hacker has exposed a hole in iOS's in-app purchasing system which allows users to circumvent the actual paying part of the transaction. Naturally Apple is scurrying to plug the security leak, even going so far as to make copyright claims on YouTube videos demonstrating the method, but hasn't yet found a permanent solution. In the meantime, friends, as much as you really want to get ahead of your mates in Hotel Monopoly, don't send a stranger your personal details just to scam a developer out of a few bucks.
