A whole lot of PlayStation games are going to be revealed in June

It turns out a pretty huge amount of PlayStation games are scheduled to be announced next month.

Whether these are current-gen titles or new PS5 games remains to be seen, but it was at least confirmed that a whole "slate" of PlayStation games are all set to be shown on June 4.

The information comes from Twitter, where Venture Beat's Jeff Grubb shared a schedule for upcoming game events including the Inside Xbox reveal and Unreal Engine 5 tech demo on PS5. Check out the tweet below.

As you can see, June 4 is tentatively marked "Slate of PlayStation," which may seem a little ambiguous at first - but don't worry. When asked what he meant by "slate" specifically, Grubb had the following to say.

Again, there's no confirmation that these are going to be new titles for PS5. However, given that we recently got a Ghost of Tsushima State of Play, and Microsoft is due to showcase new first-party titles in July - including Halo Infinite - it would make sense for Sony to show its hand.

Grubb's list of upcoming events also includes Guerrilla Collective - an indie showcase due to launch next month, which will apparently feature multiple Divinity announcements from Larian Studios - as well as some kind of Cyberpunk 2077 reveal planned for June 11 and a possible Nintendo Direct this September.

Speaking of Cyberpunk 2077, the Cyberpunk 2077 Reaver was recently unveiled. Also, according to the Australian ratings board, it has been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will allow you to mutilate corpses.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due to be released on September 17 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. If you're hungry for a taste of gameplay, don't fret: one particularly keen Cyberpunk 2077 fan took to Reddit in order to share their visually amped-up rendition of the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer, which you can now check out in 8K.
