Larian set to make multiple Divinity announcements in June

It appears that Larian Studios is gearing up to potentially announce multiple Divinity projects at the Guerrilla Collective showcase in June.

The news originally appeared on Twitter, where Larian Studios Director of Publishing Michael Douse responded to a fan's query about upcoming Divinity announcements. You can see the original tweet embedded below.

"As hyped as I am for Baldurs Gate III, I'm hoping this is a Divinity announcement like a spin-off card game or some DLC for Original Sin II or something," the tweet reads. "I need more Rivellon in my life."

Douse was quick to respond, noting that Divinity would not only feature in Larian's Guerrilla Collective slot, but that there would be more than one announcement tied to it.

"There will be a (couple) Divinity announcement(s) in this, alongside Baldur's Gate 3," Douse wrote. "Gotchu fam."

For those who aren't sure about what Guerrilla Collective actually is, it's a huge indie showcase coming to fill our E3-less June. Beginning on June 6, you'll be able to tune into the three-day Guerrilla Collective event at 10am PST on Twitch.

On top of Larian, a variety of other studios will also show off what they're working on at the moment, including 11 bit studios (Frostpunk, This War of Mine), Humble Publishing (Temtem, Forager), Paradox Interactive (Cities: Skylines, Stellaris), Versus Evil (The Banner Saga, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire), and ZA/UM (Disco Elysium).

Guerrilla Collective was announced in the wake of the cancellation of E3 2020, alongside a range of other independent virtual showcases arranged by industry giants such as Nintendo and Microsoft.

If you want more Larian news, you can check out over an hour of Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay. Unfortunately, Baldur's Gate 3 development has been slowed as a result of COVID-19, but Larian is still hoping for an Early Access release in 2020. If you're curious about what Baldur's Gate 3 is set to entail, we can tell you this much: it's more than just Divinity: Original Sin II in a D&D reskin.
