Battlefield 5 Firestorm trailer takes a deep dive into gameplay

Battlefield 5’s Firestorm mode lands next week, and DICE is celebrating with an in-depth gameplay trailer.

The latest Firestorm video for Battlefield 5 takes a "deep dive" into gameplay, showing off the various ways in which you can scavenge, fight, and try to survive.

In the video, you'll get a look at various vehicles such as DICE's take on the 50s-era International Harvester tractor. There are combat, air, and sea vehicles too, so don't assume you'll just be driving around like Farmer Brown.

There will be 17 vehicles in all when Firestorm launches next week, and some of the rarest land vehicles are stored in Vehicle Lockups. Being a trusted friend with you to help crack one open.

Watching the video, you'll also learn how working as team unlocks "high-risk, high-reward Objectives" which will earn you some nice loot.

In Battlefield 5's battle royal mode, you will be exploring the Halvoy map which is ten-times larger than Hamada. During this time, you'll do your best to outlast the burning ring of fire engulfing everything in its path.

Expect plenty of Battlefield-style destruction while you're trying to fight your way out of the situation, and be on the lookout for helpful gadgets and armor. You will also come across common, rare, and epic weapons which will, of course, prove handy. Some of the best items will be found in safes and strong boxes, and going by the video, it appears you may get into a deadly argument over who gets to open one. Same goes for Resupply Points, which will be highly contested.

Battlefield 5’s Firestorm mode will launch on March 25 as part of a free update. It supports solos, duos, and squads for up to 64 players per match.
