Bungie servers are getting a hammering.

Bungie is investigating the sign-in issues that are affecting all Destiny players at this time.

The servers are getting a hammering and throwing up “tapir” issues to players trying to access the new DLC Rise of Iron.

Some players are reporting getting kicked from the servers while others are completely unable to sign-in to the game.

The Destiny servers are located in a secret bunker in Las Vegas (no, really), in case you want to know which direction to shout “BUNGIE PLZ” in.

Update: Apparently Destiny is “at capacity”. Players are being put in a queue to access the game. It’s a loooooooooooooong queue.

Seems like a good idea, but unfortunately queue-sitters are being kicked out regularly; moments after taking the screen above, we fell out and popped back somewhere in the region of 150,000th place.
