Square Enix has released a whole bunch of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration screenshots out of gamescom 2016, giving us a look at the Blood Ties story chapter, Lara's Nightmare survival mode and more.

Amusingly, we also get to see more of that classic Lara model inserted into serious story cutscenes, completely ruining the moment, like dressing up Snake in goofy outfits to turn Metal Gear Solid cinematics into gags.

Whatever the case, they're funny to look at and will probably be even funnier when you hear modern Lara's voice coming out of that pixelated Lara model. See the full batch below.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration hits PS4 on October 11. The extra story chapter and survival mode will be made available to season pass holders on PC and Xbox One.
