Launch times, pre-loading and PC requirements have been released for Doom .

Doom: here’s the PC requirements and launch times for your region

We’ll start with the PC minimum and recommended PC system specs and move on to the launch timings and pre-load information.

PC System Specs

Minimum

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.

Recommended

  • Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better;
  • 8 GB RAM; 55 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam (total amount 45 GB) is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation and broadband internet connection for Multiplayer and SnapMap.

Bethesda said it will provide links to officially supported AMD and NVIDIA drivers for Doom’s launch soon.

Launch timings and console pre-load information

Game Launch Unlocks and Server Launch

  • New Zealand @ 12 am local time
  • Australia @ 12 am local time
  • North America @ 12 am ET
  • Europe @ 12 am local time
  • Asia – 12 am local time.
  • Japan – 12 am local time on May 19

Console and Steam pre-loading: Console players need to ensure they have 50GB available for the install.

  • Steam – pre-loading starts at 12am local time worldwide on May 11
  • PlayStation 4 pre-loading – begins at 12am local time worldwide May 11
  • Xbox Live those who pre-ordered digitally can pre-load the game now
