Final Fantasy 14 developer video discusses "F.A.T.E." events

Square Enix has released a developer video for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn which discusses the MMO's Full Active Time Events, also known as F.A.T.E. These are events in the game which can happen randomly while the player is minding his or her own business running about the game world. The events can come in the form of a huge monster spawn, or a group of such appearing in non-instanced areas. When it occurs, an alert will pop up on the game screen so player in the zone can join in. Find out more below. Game's out on PC and PS3 in August and will release on PS4.
