Dragon War Battle Pack now available for Total War: SHOGUN 2
SEGA has announced the Dragon War Battle Pack for Total War: SHOGUN 2 which consists of six battles from the Boshin War, depicting the campaign of Saigo Takamori, is now available. Previously only available through the Fall of the Samurai expansion, the pack can now be accessed in the original game.

Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai releasing March 23
Sega’s announced its standalone expansion pack, Fall of the Samurai for Total War: Shogun 2, will be released on March 23. It’s to include six new playable clans who will need to “deal with” the foreign powers of America, Britain and France, as well as fighting against domestic factions. It also includes an improved campaign map, new building and technology trees, the introduction of railways and naval bombardments, along with ten new ships, one of which is an Ironclad class battleship and another in the way of torpedo boats. It also contains 30 new units along with the lovely Gatling gun. New shots are below.

Rise of the Samurai trailer released for Total War: Shogun 2
SEGA and The Creative Assembly have released a video for Rise of the Samurai, the Total War: Shogun 2 DLC slated for September. The DLC is set 400 years before the Sengoku period in Shogun 2, where players will lead one of six playable clans from the Taira, Minamoto and Fujiwara families during the Gempei War. It contains both single and multiplayer modes, and will run you $9.99. Thanks, EvilAvatar.

Creative Assembly’s Shogun 2 will have the words Total War in front of the title, as the developer and SEGA wanted the series name to come first.
