Total War: Warhammer video introduces you to the Old World

The latest entry in the Total War series is the most "accessible yet," according to The Creative Assembly, tasking players with leading the Old World either into "damnation or starvation."

In the overview video above, players get a quick look at how to choose a race for the Grand Campaign map; manage diplomacy, economy and military; and how to customize units.

Players will need to strike a balance between survival and conquest as they expand their empire. As they traverse the landscape, they will gain skills and more tactical experience when participating in real-time battles.

Total War: Warhammer releases on May 24.
