Riot: Tencent acquisition “opens up more doors”

Riot Games president Marc Merrill has said the company’s recent majority acquisition by Chinese publisher Tencent will “open up more doors” for the League of Legends developer, which retains its “autonomy”.

League of Legends admin dismissed for abuse of power

A Riot Games admin has lost his job after a power rush to the head apparently convinced him it was a good idea to verbally abuse a player, hand down an unfair ban, and livestream the whole affair.
