Yesterday at GDC, Hideo Kojima said that Metal Gear Ground Zeroes and faux-mysterious Phantom Pain were actually together Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, and also that Ground Zeroes is the prologue. We interpreted that to mean they are one game, but that is not the case. A Konami spokesperson told GameSpot Ground Zeroes and MGS5 are separate titles. OK.

Hideo Kojima has been on a roll of late on Twitter, and while we told you earlier about the possibility of the next Phantom Pain trailer being edited at his desk earlier, another tweet from the enigmatic developer has surfaced regarding the Fox Engine.

Hideo Kojima has spoken to VG247′s Dave Cook about Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. It seems the Metal Gear Solid designer is fearful for the series’ next iteration.
