Halo 5 hasn’t been formally announced yet, but 343 Industries’ design director Brad Welch has engaged fans in a Twitter discussion about where he felt things went wrong, and how the next game will look to address concerns.

Halo 5 got a teaser trailer at E3 a few weeks ago, right? Well, that’s all got a bit cloudy now thanks to some fresh quotes from Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, who claims it wasn’t Halo 5, but a 60FPS shooter coming in 2014. He’s also said that the publisher and 343 Industries are discussing the possibility of Halo 2: Anniversary.

343 Industries revealed a new Halo FPS for Xbox One running at 60fps during the Microsoft E3 press conference today. A small clip, which is posted below was shown. More on the game will be announced at a later date. When we find out more on the game we will let you know. Shots are below as well.

Microsoft has announced that the Halo series has moved 50 million since its inception in 2001. It has also been confirmed by 343 Industries that the next titles in the series is also “in early stages of development.”
