Infection mode is coming to Halo 5, watch the first teaser
Infection is another fan-favourite mode coming to Halo 5 multiplayer this year.
During a livestream last night, Halo 5 developer 343 revealed the final details of Ghosts of Meridian, the game's upcoming content update.
The studio also took the time show a short teaser for a mode that's sure to make long-time fans of the series happy, the return of Infection.
Infection is the zombie-themed multiplayer mode that has one player, as a zombie, going around trying to infect other players. The mode was pretty big in Halo 3 and Reach, and it's one of the less serious takes on multiplayer.
343 did not say which upcoming update will include Infection, but judging from the studio's usual tease/release schedule, we're guessing it's going to be in the Memories of Reach update, due after this month's Ghosts of Meridian.
