Purchase digital version of The Art of the Mass Effect Universe, get bonuses for Mass Effect 3
Dark Horse Comics and EA have announced that those who purchase the digital version of The Art of the Mass Effect Universe will receive a limited code to unlock a Reinforcement Pack containing in-game items to be used on PC or Xbox 360 in the co-op campaign of Mass Effect 3. The Reinforcement Packs contain character boosters and the Collector Assault Rifle. The weapon was given to those who pre-ordered the physical copy through Barnes and Noble. You can order your copy here, and the codes don’t expire until March 31, 2013.

Dark Horse to distribute online SWTOR comic via softcover collection
BioWare, LucasArts and Dark Horse Comics plan to release 27 of the online issues of the Star War: The Old Republic series into a 96 page softcover collection.
Written by Rob Chestney and drawn by Alex Sanchez, the comic serves as a prequel to the MMO.
It’s to be released on April 28, per BigDownload.

EA and Dark Horse team up for Mass Effect: Redemption comic
BioWare, EA and Dark Horse Comics announced announced a new comic book series based on Mass Effect today.
Mass Effect: Redemption tells the tale of the events leading up to Mass Effect 2 which opens with Commander Shepard having mysteriously gone missing and left to fight for survival. Lead writer Mac Walters is penning it along with John Jackson Miller scripting it with Omar Francia providing the artwork.
Planned as a four-parter, it will land in retail January 6, 2010.

Microsoft to announce “tons of exclusives” at E3 next month
