2K has announced Protector Trials, the new single-player add-on for BioShock 2, is now available for XBL and PSN and it will run you 400 MSP/$4.99.

More Just Cause 2 and BioShock 2 DLC dated for XBL
The Major has revealed that DLC for BioShock 2 and Just Cause 2 is coming around the end of the month.
There’s also some for Mega Man 10.

2K: BioShock 2 DLC already on the disc to keep audience together
2K has confirmed that yesterday’s BioShock 2 DLC is indeed just an unlock for content already held on the game’s disc, saying the content’s being delivered this way in order to not “split the player-base”.

It looks as though BioShock 2′s Sinclair Solutions tester pack, paid DLC released yesterday for the shooter, may already have been on the disc.

NPD February 2010: BioShock 2 rockets to first, Heavy Rain starts off strong
Does the GDC news rush have your head spinning? Then take a load off with February’s NPDs, which came out today. So, how’d your favorite games fair?
Unsurprisingly, BioShock 2 made a drill-brandishing beeline straight to first place, while Mass Effect 2, Dante’s Inferno, and Heavy Rain all managed to keep apace in the top ten. Long-legged favorites New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Modern Warfare 2, meanwhile, took second and third.

2K has announced that the first bit of downloadable content for BioShock 2 will be made available worldwide on March 11.

GTA IV sells 15 million, 3 million BioShock 2 units sold
Take Two’s just announced its sold over 15 million copies of Grand Theft Auto IV LtD.
BioShock 2 has sold 3 million units since its release last month with lifetime franchise sales sitting at around 7 million.
