BioShock 2 video chats about story, Big Sisters

bioshock2a3

The EU PS Blog had a chance to sit down with BioShock 2's senior producer Melissa Miller and lead environment artist Hogarth de la Plante, and chat about the sequel's storyline, atmosphere, and Big Sisters.

Turns out, the new antagonist Dr. Sofia Lamb has a much more collective philosophy than Jack Ryan's Ayn Rand-like ideals from the first game. Lambs sees the "group" as something stronger than the "individual", but de la Plante doesn't go so far as to call her a communist. Interesting.

Also mentioned in the video interview was how your playing style will determine how many Big Sisters you come across. Depending on how many Little Sisters you harvest or adopt will trigger how many of these bad assess you have to fight. Again, de la Plante would not further elaborate on this, so as not to spoil anything.

You can watch the video for yourself through here.

Yesterday, 2K released the launch trailer for the title, which is expected to hit sore next week (hooray!), and today videos showing the weapons surfaced.
