Pitchford: Colonial Marines experience leans closer to “gritty realism” than action
Randy Pitchford has described the gameplay experience of Aliens: Colonial Marines as being more akin to “gritty realism” than a typical action-shoot. Don’t you fret though: the “definitely” has plenty of action.

Aliens: Colonial Marines video shows clips of gameplay amidst suspenseful effects
SEGA has released a new video for Aliens: Colonial Marines, showing off a bit of gameplay from the Gearbox shooter. When we say “a bit”, we really mean it. Cinematic trailer released for Aliens: Colonial Marines

Aliens: Colonial Marines looks set to come out this fall instead of the previously-announced spring timeline, according to the game’s official website.

Aliens: Colonial Marines collector’s edition appears
Someone’s done a bit of a doody and outed the collector’s edition of Aliens: Colonial Marines. The CE, yet to be confirmed by Sega, will come with a new game mode, three in-game multiplayer weapons, a display figure and intel dossier. The full banana’s over on Gamekyo.

Gearbox’s Martel on making Aliens: Colonial Marines a bit of a fright
Gearbox CCO Brian Martel has said the developer is looking to scare the player a bit with Aliens: Colonial Marines, but at the end of the day, it’s more of a co-op shooter than a horror title.

Gearbox – Unreal makes Wii U ports “easier”
Gearbox didn’t receive its Wii U development kits until a few months before E3, but got Aliens Colonial Marines working pretty quickly thanks to the flexibility of the Unreal Engine.
