Ariane Labed signs on for Assassin's Creed film

Another actor has signed on the Assassin's Creed film.

According to Deadline, award-winning, Greek-born French actress Ariane Labed, is attached, but there isn't information at present on which role she will be playing.

What is know, is that she will fill the part originally slated for Alicia Vikander, who had a prior commitment with the next Jason Bourne installment.

Back in May, actor Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, 300, X-Men:First Class) confirmed filming starts on the Assassin's Creed movie in September.

The actor will star in the film alongside Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard, and it is being directed by Justin Kurzel.

The film is set for a December 21, 2016 theatrical release..
