Here's why Star Wars: Battlefront hasn't been dated yet

Star Wars: Battlefront was shown very briefly during EA's E3 2014 conference last night, and instead of a launch window we were told that we'd get our first proper look at it in Spring 2015. Peter Moore has since explained why EA is refraining from announcing a release window.

Missed the clip we're talking about? No worries young Padawan, watch it here.

IGN quizzed Moore about why the reveal didn't show very much or offer a release window, and why other titles like Mass Effect 4 and Mirror's Edge received only short clips.

"These games are so big and you’ve got to get the game right," Moore replied of the "We’re often criticized for release dates and getting ahead of it too early. I never believed in nailing a date and then reverse engineering the title backwards from the date, it just doesn’t work. When we’re comfortable, we’ll announce a release date."

Hello Ubisoft delays.
