Dead Island series likely to continue

Deep Silver has reiterated that dead Island has a future, beyond the recently-announced MOBA, Dead Island: Epidemic.

"I would not expect the series to stop at this point," Deep Silver creative director Guido Eickmeyer said during a Reddit AMA.

He had been asked about the possibility of a third Dead Island game, following on from the 2011 original and this year's Dead Island: Riptide.

Eickmeyer responded positively to comments and suggestions from interested fans, but wouldn't committ to any details.

"I can only ask you to wait a bit further, then some really nice things will be revealed about the future of Dead Island," he said.

Dead Island developer TechLand is currently working on Hellraid.
