Pokémon X & Y footage shows off lucious 3D graphics

Pokémon going 3D may seem sacrilegious to hardcore fans, but this gameplay footage of Pokémon X & Y certainly looks pretty slick.

In the video below you’ll see Pokémon battles, fishing, and a coastal environment.

This footage was aired during an episode of Pokémon Smash, a Japanese TV show. YouTube users have edited the episode to show the footage only, but it also showed a clip from the new anime series.

Pokémon X & Y launches worldwide on October 12. It’s the first in the series to release for 3DS, and to move the franchise into full 3D graphics. Loads of information on Pokémon X & Y’s legendaries, new Pokémon and more was released last week.

Thanks, Cub3d.
