Minecraft Xbox One: Microsoft now discussing 360 save transfers with studio

Minecraft Xbox One studio 4J Studios is now in talks with Microsoft over the possibility of save transfers between the Xbox 360 game and incoming next-gen edition. Last week it was both confirmed and denied that the saves would work, which confused a lot of people. We've got some clarity here.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer said in an interview last week that both games were so different that Minecraft save transfers between Xbox 360 and Xbox One would not be possible.

Now, Spencer had this to say on Twitter:

It's nice to see that maybe, everyone's hard-graft and cube stacking will not be lost in the next-generation transition, but we'll hold our breath for now.
