Battlefield 4 developer DICE has opened Xbox One and PS4 pre-orders for its shooter, and may have given us our first look at what game boxes for both formats might look like.

Now, there’s every chance this is just place-holder, but you never know. Let us know what you think below.

What do you think? Do they seem legit?

You can also check out three newly-released Battlefield 4 screens here.

I hope not, don’t mind the ps4 one but not keen on the X1.

I think the PS4 one is right or very close to what the final one will be as it matches the Vita.

Like the PS4 one more than the X1, but at least the X1 is better than the 360′s current one

Hardly call it moaning, I like both although bland, but overall makes no real difference.

With the XOne. buy game, install, put box in cupboard forever as it has 0 resale value ;)
But it is dull, luckily the boxart isn’t selling game!

@7 In fact things like boxart and description are maybe most important factors when it comes to impulse sales / purchases. It has to be something… special so people get that impulse to pick it up and even purchase it.

I hope they come in the thin sleeve-like cases like the ones included in TV box sets…since most publishers don’t include anything meaningful in the cases anymore, ie game manual, there’s no sense shipping in full DVD/Blu-ray cases anymore. It’ll just take up more room in our already full games shelves.
