Diablo 3 anniversary celebrated with magic find, XP boosts

Log in for a few hours with Diablo 3 this week and you'll be rewarded with increased XP gain and magic find, in celebration of the RPG's first birthday.

Blizzard is granting a 25% boost to both magic find and XP, according to TenTonHammer.

Charmingly, this boost will stack above the normal 300% cap, so even if you've maxed your gear it's still worth it. As you may recall, Blizzard also introduced co-op bonuses which stack above the cap in a recent update, so you have a potentially very lucrative combination on your hands.

The event has already begun and will run through May 21.

Diablo 3 launched on May 15 2012 and despite early server woes went on to be one of the year's best-selling PC titles. It's now headed to PlayStation 3 and later PlayStation 4.
