PS3 and Resident Evil 6 claim top spots on Japanese charts

Resident Evil 6 claimed the top software spot at Japanese retail this week, and PS3 knocked 3DS LL off its top spot on the hardware charts.

The latest from Capcom moved 634,933 units on PS3 and 41,652 on Xbox 360 for a combined total of 676,585 units.

PS3 sales jumped considerably with 42,218 units sold over last week’s 8,935 units. Xbox 360 units jumped quite a bit as well, with 4,894 units sold compared to last week’s 742 units.

Other hardware units dropped in sales. Vita and 3DS LL showed considerable declines with 7,957 (14,469) and 39,046 (55,353) units moved, respectively.

    I expected Sol Trigger to do better.
    Anyway, just goes to show games sell systems, not the other way around.
    Sony-6 , ninty-3, ms-1 in top ten.
