Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance still has a silly name but also has four new screens for you to ogle with your eyes. VG247 recently spoke with Kojima Productions on development of the game, working with Platinum and more. Check out the full interview here.

Man, platinumgames really needs to understand how to release proper screenshots.

#1 well they do understand how to release good games, therefore its ok that they do have a misscue in something, dont you think :)

@2 Yep I love Platinum Games. Bayonetta was – personally – the best hack n’ slash out there bar none. Wasn’t perfect, but the pure handling was impeccable.

@2: Well, i played Vanquish, so i have to disagree with you. Most boring shooter i’ve ever played. The best thing about the game though, was the smoke button.

@1 These are proper screenshots, showing the actual game in actual action.

As opposed to the glorified target renders at camera angles never applied in the games themselves that most publisher pawn off as “screenshots”.

@3 It’s still the best spectacle fighter in the genre bar none.

#5 well i did like it more than gears or uncharted, but that is a very personal thing, i understand is not for everybody, so ok, but overall they create great games, when they were clover and now being platinum, i have yet to found a bad game from them.

Platinum Games in my opinion make good games. I wish they had good programmers.

Bayonetta was very good in my opinion, but Vanquish as a shooter was mediocre. Japanese developers are not the best when it comes to shooters.

I’m not really a big fan of this Metal Gear Raiden reboot thing but i played Bayonetta so i’m not worried about the hack and slash thing.

@6: The least they could do is look for proper screenshots that don’t have clipping issues, or at least add some anti-aliasing.

btw. i do think those camera angles won’t be found in the final version.
