Persona 5 is in development, making progress

Team Persona producer Katsura Hashino has said that he and the rest Team Persona are currently focused on the next core installment of the Persona series.

Speaking in the next issue of Famitsu, Hashino says that initial sketches have been submitted for Persona 5, and that the game as a whole is making progress. No other details about the future title have been provided.

In non-Persona news, Hashino also admits that he is in the middle of a secret collaborative project that is still a ways away from being officially revealed. Cryptic, sure, but exciting nonetheless.

Thanks, Andriasang.

Am I the only one excited about this? Megami Tensei is my favourite JRPG, not only for their combat features, but for its “highschool life” style of gameplay… Bought a Vita mainly to grab P4 The Golden for god’s sake!

Don’t you worry Wolf, Persona is well loved around these parts. I just hope they move the setting to a college setting.
