Phantasy Star Online 2 has 730,000 registers users

SEGA has announced Phantasy Star Online 2 has 730,000 registers users. The firm also announced that on July 7 it had 91,513 concurrent players. The game is set for an update with new enemies, outfits and hairdos next month, and the update will be delivered in three parts on August 1, August 8, and the end of the month, respectively. Shame there’s no console version, although it’s hardly surprising considering the state Sega are in.

I think it has more to do with the f2p model they are using.

If the game takes off, I expect a console version for the next gen systems. Would be a great fit for WiiU, imo because of its strong JPNS ties.

I believe there is a Vita Verson playend too isn’t there?
